Leadership Training and Assistance

Through the years, Open Doors has found that training and encouraging pastors and church leaders is the most effective way to support strong, healthy local churches,  and sustain long-term growth of Christian communities in places of persecution. We help these brave leaders study and teach the Bible in a way that brings the courage of truth to their people.

In 2008, more than 114,400 Christian leaders were trained in programs that varied from very intensive, ongoing theological training courses to shorter seminars designed to build up and encourage Persecuted Christians.

The shocking reality is that less than 10 percent of Christian leaders in the Persecuted Church have received any form of theological training.

With these Christian leaders already spread thin by their vast amount of responsibility, we respond by providing training seminars and leadership institutes that are accommodating to the restrictions they face with time, travel, and finances of being pulled away from the second jobs they usually have to support their families.

It is our passion to continue to supply the growing church around the world with the training they need to stand strong in persecution.
