Religion:
China’s religion split is 50% non-religious, 28% Chinese, and 8% Christians.  Since the Chinese government are basically atheistic, and are trying to suppress the Christians, it is hard to get accurate numbers.  There are between 80 to 100 million Christians, with the majority members of unregistered house churches.  The Church grows at between 20-25,000 new believers every day.  The impact of 150 years of prayer for China is enormous.

Stories:
China is such a large and diverse country that almost any story may be true somewhere.  There is a measure of controlled freedom in official churches and in the larger cities, but things may be very different in other regions.  Those who seek to practice their religion outside the official church still suffer penalties like fines, arrest, torture, labor camp or prison detention.

While Bibles and other Christian literature may be found in the cities, there are still large groups of rural and minority-language people who do not have access to scriptures or teaching about God.  One minority worker said, "My people have not rejected Jesus, they have never heard of Him."
