ANTONIUS RICHMOND BAWENGAN (1953) - Arrested in October 2010 for distribution of Christian literature in Central Java. Sentenced on February 8, 2011 to 5 years of prison.
Laos-Prisoners
SENG AROUN - Pastor of Kon church in Namtha district in Northern Laos was arrested on July 10, 2011.
SOUA YANG CHANH - Hmong ethnic minority Christian detained in Udomxay province prison. Accused of taking part in a “subversive meeting” in Thailand. Sentenced to 12 years in 2000-2001.
THAO OUN - A church leader in Liansai village, Savannakhet Province, was arrested on September 3, 2009 for embracing Christianity and threatened to be expelled unless he renounces his faith.
VONG VEU - Christian arrested in Pookong village, Luang Prabang Province on July 10, 2011.
Laos-Unclear Status
BOON CHANH KHUNTHAWONG (1940) - Khmu ethnic minority Christian detained in Udomxai province prison. He and his wife, Saeng Khum, were arrested on June 9, 1999. He was sentenced to 15 years for treason.
Laos-Released Prisoners
THONG CHAN - Pastor from Udomxai, he had been a Chao Muang (District Governor). After his conversion he was arrested in 1999 and convicted of preaching the Gospel, thus being considered a traitor to the nation. He was sentenced to 15 years of labor camp. He is married to Saengkham. In spring 2012 he was released after 13 years spent in prison.
WANNA, CHANLAI and KAN - Pastors arrested on January 4, 2011 while preparing the Christmas church meeting in Khammouan Province. They were accused of holding a secret meeting. After 1 year spent in prison they were released in spring 2012.

HO THI BICH KHUONG (1967) - Christian lady of Full Gospel House Church in Northern state Nghe sentenced to 5 years of prison and 5 years of house arrest on December 29, 2011.
JEAN-BAPTISTE NGUYEN VAN OAI - Young Catholic arrested on July 30, 2011 and detained in B14 in Hanoi. In December 2011 was allowed to meet a member of his family.
KPA Y CO (1980) - Evangelist originally from central Vietnam, he was arrested in January 2010 and sentenced to 4 years prison plus 2 years of house arrest on November 15, 2010. He works with the Vietnam Good News Mission.
KSOR Y DU (1965) - Evangelist originally from central Vietnam, he was arrested in January 2010 and sentenced to 6 years of prison and 4 years of house arrest on November 15, 2010. He works with the Vietnam Good News Mission. His wife, A Le H'Gioi, and their teenage daughter face big difficulties. Ksor Y Du spent previously 4 years in prison, from 2004 to 2008.

LÊ CÔNG DINH -A Human rights lawyer, he was arrested at his office in Ho Chi Minh City on June 13, 2009 by the Public Security police. He has been charged with “conducting propaganda” against the state under Article 88 of the Penal Code and sentenced on January 10, 2010, to five years in prison.

NGUYEN BINH THANH - Catholic arrested in February 2007 and sentenced in March 2007 to 5 years of prison plus 2 years of house arrest.
NGUYEN CONG CHINH, Rev (1960) - Pastor, leader of the American Lutheran church of Vietnam, sentenced on March 23, 2012 to 11 years of prison for “sabotaging national unity.” He was arrested in April 2011. His wife, Trân Thi Hông, and their 4 children have not seen him since.

NGUYEN PHONG - Catholic arrested in February 2007 and sentenced in March 2007 to 6 years of prison plus 3 years of house arrest.
NGUYEN TRUNG TON (1971) - Pastor of Full Gospel House Church in Northern state Nghe was sentenced to 2 years of prison and 2 years of house arrest on December 29, 2011.
NGUYEN VAN DUYET - Young Catholic arrested on August 7, 2011 and detained in B14 in Hanoi. He was allowed to meet a member of his family in December 2011.

NGUYEN VAN LY Thaddeus (1947) - Catholic priest arrested in February 2007 and sentenced in March 2007 to 8 years of prison and 5 years of house arrest for “opposing the Revolution.” Since he suffered a stroke in November 2009 and is paralyzed on one side, he was released on March 15, 2010 in order to get medical care. He had already been arrested several times and detained for approx. 15 years total. On July 25, 2011 police arrested him again.
NGUYEN VAN THANH (1983) - Catholic sentenced to 3 years of prison on March 6, 2012 in the province of Nghê An for “reading” anti-government propaganda.
PAUL HO VAN HOAN - Young Catholic arrested on August 16, 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City. He is a member of the Vinh diocese.
PAUL LE VAN SON - Young Catholic arrested on August 3, 2011 from Vinh Diocese. He is detained in B14 in Hanoi.
PAUL TRAN MINH NHAT - Young Catholic arrested on August 27, 2011. He is a student at Hanoi University.
PIERRE HO DUC HOA - Young Catholic arrested on July 30, 2011.
PIERRE NGUYEN DINH CUONG - Young Catholic arrested on December 24, 2011 in Vinh.
THAI VAN DUNG - Young Catholic arrested in August 2011 and detained in B14 in Hanoi. He was allowed to meet a member of his family in December 2011.
VO THI THUY (1961) - Catholic lady sentenced to 5 years of prison on March 6, 2012 in the province of Nghê An for anti-government propaganda.

HOANG THI ANH DAO - Catholic lady arrested in Feb. 2007 and sentenced in Hûé to 2 years of prison plus 3 years of trial time.

LÊ THI CONG NHAN (1979) - Christian lady attorney convicted on May 11, 2007 of “propagandizing against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” and sentenced to 4 years in prison plus 3 years of house arrest. She was released on March 6, 2010 and remains under house arrest.

NGUYEN VAN DAI (1969) - Christian attorney convicted on May 11, 2007, of “propagandizing against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam” and sentenced to 5 years of prison plus 4 years of house arrest. His sentence was reduced by 1 year due to international pressure. He was released on March 5, 2011 and remains under house arrest.

NGUYEN HUU MINH - Catholic from central Vietnam sentenced to 1 year of prison on October 27, 2010. He is charged for troubles to the public order and aggression to civil servants during the funeral of Maria Tan in May 2010. He was released in autumn 2011.
PHAN THI NHAN - Catholic lady from central Vietnam, she was sentenced to 9 months of prison on October 27, 2010. She was accused of causing trouble to the public order and aggression to civil servants during the funeral of Maria Tan in May 2010. In summer 2011 she was released.
