Remembering Iraqi Christians in the New Year

Most of Iraq’s Christians spent Christmas in tents or unfinished buildings that are now their homes, neither of which provide adequate protection from the freezing cold of winter. Many are in dire need of jackets and clothing. This cold can pose as big a danger as IS militants do.

The Persecuted Church Responds to Terror in Paris

Just before the Kouachi brothers unleashed their shooting spree in a Paris publishing office, Boko Haram attacked the Nigerian town of Baga and terrorized and killed at least 150 people.  Some witnesses say there may have been as many as 2000 victims, many of whom drowned while fleeing a more horrific fate at the hands of radical Islamic jihadists.
