Ask Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton How They Will Respond to Persecution

We haven’t heard much about the tragic reality of religious persecution from the presidential candidates.

And I think we need to be hearing something.

As Christians, our brothers and sisters are among those suffering horrendous persecution simply because of their faith. And as Christians, we’re called to, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.” (Proverbs 31:8)

What do you think we should be hearing from Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton about religious persecution? (Please share your thoughts, and share this blog to encourage others to think about it, as well!)

At Open Doors, we believe that the next president of the United States should be equipped with a plan of action to address the onslaught of unprecedented persecution. Yet we’ve heard… nothing.

What needs to change? What do you wish to hear from the presidential candidates on persecution?

At Open Doors, we’ve just launched a campaign calling on the presidential candidates to voice a specific plan of action to address the persecution of Christians and those of other faiths who are suffering around the world.

We want to hear from the presidential candidates on how they will respond to ever-increasing religious persecution, and how they will personally work to strengthen religious freedom in our world today.

Will you add your voice to this campaign? Please sign a petition to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton today, urging them to speak out on religious persecution.

Thank you for being a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves! And please – take a moment to share this campaign with your friends.
