Bless A Persecuted Christian With A Study Bible

June 5, 2013 by Open Doors in Stories of Persecution

I really enjoy my study Bible. It not only helps with references (like what the Greek root of a phrase is), but it also makes the Bible practical and applicable in my daily life. I am thankful for this kind of Bible, which helps me grow in my faith.

Knowing how much I am blessed by it, I imagine a persecuted Christian would be even more blessed by this gift.

Many of these Christians only get to meet together on occasion. Some of the groups have a pastor, while others do not. The Christians who do not have a pastor are forced to try to understand the whole Bible on their own. That is where a study Bible comes in hand.

I have been spoiled. I have always had a pastor I could go to when I had a question about the Bible. I went to a Christian college where I learned so much about the Word of God. Many of my brothers and sisters in Christ will never have these opportunities.

If you feel led, would you consider donating a study Bible to a persecuted Christian? This would bless them so much in their faith. Blessings to you this weekend!
