Continuing to Be One With Them

June 5, 2013 by Open Doors in Stories of Persecution

In the past few months, we have been focusing on the theme of being One With Them (persecuted Christians). Now that the International Day of Prayer has come and gone, it is essential that we do not forget this call. We can continue to be One With Them in many ways:

-Continue wearing the One With Them wristbands. These wristbands serve as important reminders to pray for the persecuted and to share about persecution with others.

-Join future Open Doors advocacy campaigns. In the near future we will have different ways in which you can be a voice for the voiceless. Be sure to stay tuned for more information about these campaigns.

Prayer. We will be going through the booklet Prayer the Real Battle on facebook and twitter. It is vital that we continue to pray for these dear believers.

-Remembering the persecuted during the Christmas season. Starting December 1st we will provide ways in which you can bless persecuted Christians during Christmas.

Thank you for continuing to be One With Them. It has been so wonderful to see how active you have been in being there for our persecuted brothers and sisters. We truly are the body of Christ, when one members suffers, we all suffer- When one part is lifted up, we are all lifted up. We are so blessed to be serving with each of you!
