Exclusive Video: Selah Remembers the 21 Egyptian Martyrs

“They kept their faith until the last moment. We are proud of them,” said the brother of one of the 21 Egyptian Christians who were killed by an IS-linked group in Libya.

This past February, 21 CopticMembers of an ethnic religious group from North Africa but primarily Egypt, where they are the largest Christian denomination in the country. Christians were beheaded by the Islamic extremist group ISIS. The group posted a video declaring the intention of these killings- dominance and power in the name of Allah.

This has been a time of sorrow and mourning for the church, but amongst this darkness, the church celebrates the lives of these faithful believers that testified to the truth of the gospel in the face of death. We are overjoyed knowing the peace and rest they now have in the presence of their Maker!

Christian band, Selah, has partnered with the church in this celebration!
