Give the Gift of Helping Persecuted Believers Reach Their Persecutors

Today’s gift is one of the most important gifts that you could give a persecuted Christian: Helping them reach their persecutors.

With Syria in the news, I am reminded of an amazing story that happened there almost 2000 years. In Acts 9, Saul- a persecutor of Christians, was on the road to Damascus to find more Christians to imprison. God used a Christian named Ananias to minister to Saul- a persecutor of Christians. Through his experience on the road to Damascus, God brought the former persecutor to a saving relationship with his son Jesus Christ.

Today, there are still ‘Saul to Paul’ conversions happening in countries like Syria. God is using Christians to reach their persecutors. We, as Christians in the West can actually help Christians to reach their persecutors.

“I was thinking they were wicked, always killing us, burning our churches,” says one woman who attended an Open Doors training course. “But now I understand they are created and loved by God. He came to die for the world, including them.” Persecuted Christians in Islamic countries are learning to love and reach out to the Muslim families around them with the unconditional love of Christ.

Thank you so much for praying for these brave Christians. Please click the button below to help persecuted Christians in this way!
