International Religious Freedom Is Still At Risk
The deadline for USCIRF funding has been extended until 12/18/2011. This is great news, but it does not mean that the battle is over. It is imperative that USCIRF continues to receive funding and that Senate would vote for this on 12/18/2011. You can read more about the situation here: http://www.opendoorsusa.org/press/press-release/2011/November/Religious-Freedom-Commission-Doors-To-Close-Unless-Senate-Steps-Up-to-the-Plate.
We would ask that you would continue to get involved. Please continue to contact your elected officials and let them know that you want them to make international religious freedom a priority.
Thank you for your continued support and for caring about religious freedom abroad.
