My Wristband

Looking down at my wrist, I see the One With Them wristband. It is designed in the fashion of barbed wire, a product too many persecuted Christians are familiar with. As I look at my wristband, I think of Brother Mac.

For 30 years Brother Mac sat in prison for preaching the gospel. When he was released, he said that he would do it all over again, all 30 years, if it meant furthering Christ’s kingdom.

What an amazing man- a person who sat 30 years behind prison walls for the crime of being a Christian.

There are many other believers like Brother Mac who face this kind of persecution. That is why it is so important that we stand One With Them. By wearing this wristband, you can show your support. The wristband is not only a tool that reminds Christians to pray for the believers, but is a conversation starter- a way in which we can share with others the stories of persecuted Christians.

Will you wear this wristband in solidarity of your brothers and sisters who share your faith, but not your freedom?
