Open Doors Launches New Petition to President Obama

Open Doors has launched a petition on behalf of Christians in the Middle East. We encourage all our supporters to sign this letter to President Obama today, urging him to take action to protect suffering Christians and other vulnerable groups in the Middle East and North Africa.

Long before ISIS began cutting their deadly path throughout Syria, Iraq and North Africa, Open Doors was advocating for a bill to create a Special Envoy for Religious Minorities in the Near East and South Central Asia.  Although Congress passed the bill last July, the President has yet to fill this crucial State Department post.

Please join with others in sending this critical message to the White House and share the petition with friends and family.  Together we can make an impact. Ask President Obama to move quickly to appoint a Special Envoy and to create a plan of action to protect persecuted Christians and others in the Middle East and North Africa.
