Your persecuted family shares their gratitude this Thanksgiving

Thank you from your persecuted family

This Thanksgiving as you prepare to celebrate with family and friends, we want to pause, show our gratitude and thank you for being part of the Open Doors community.

We truly couldn’t carry out this mission without you.

Your prayers and gifts are making an eternal impact. We continue to hear from persecuted believers that they’ve been emboldened to share the gospel with their family and community. Or that they’ve been praying for the day they would receive their own Bible to lead others to the Jesus they’ve met.

And we often hear how practical aid like food and medicine is strengthening families to be the Church in their community. In fact, recently we received this beautiful video clip from Laos when our partners distributed COVID-19 relief to 1,000 Christians. In places like Laos where believers are often discriminated against for leaving the tribal religion, the pandemic has been especially difficult. Our partners have reported that Christians have been refused government aid.

Watch as Lao sisters Phoun, Fa and Daeng share their gratitude.

Please know that we are so thankful for you and your partnership in the gospel.

“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now” (Phil. 1:3-5).
