Ramadan Day 7- Faithfulness

June 30, 2014 by Open Doors in

Ramadan Day 7 Pakistan – Chuni loved her mountain home; it was beautiful. But she and her friend Nadeen knew that God had placed one particular unreached village on their hearts. They longed to go and share the gospel to the people there, but knew that it was controlled by anti-Christian extremists, and this knowledge presented a large challenge. Despite the dangers, both women were prepared to travel the difficult mountain trail that led to the village. Harsh winds there could be unforgiving in these mountains. And both women feared the ever-present possibility of attack from religious extremists from which there would be no protection if they were discovered. Neither of them had formal education, so this made explaining Bible truths difficult. But none of these obstacles stopped them; they decided to go anyway. The Lord blessed Chuni and Nadeen’s bold efforts. Today, a small group of new believers gather regularly for prayer meetings. STAND “ONE WITH THEM” Today, gather a group of friends or family members, and take a walk together. Pray for Christians living in Muslim-dominated countries. PRAY “ONE WITH THEM” Father, today we ask that you embolden your flock so that they will remain faithful in following Your call to share the gospel to those who do not yet know You. Amen.
