Share the 2016 Open Doors World Watch List with President Obama

On Wednesday, January 13th Open Doors President, Dr. David Curry, released the 2016 World Watch List at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. David Saperstein, Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom and Gladys, a persecuted Christian from Kenya were also featured speakers. Members of the press and special guests were also in attendance.

The Open Doors World Watch List is published every January and lists the 50 countries worldwide where Christians experience the most severe persecution. This year’s Top Ten countries in order are: North Korea, Iraq, Eritrea, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Iran, and Libya.

As the 2016 World Watch List is released, we encourage you to add your name to this petition to the President. The petition asks President Obama to prioritize religious freedom in several high-ranking World Watch List countries, where persecution against Christians is most severe.
