Though Others Have Forgotten, You Have Not – Thank You!

December 10, 2015 by Open Doors in Africa
As the year is coming to a close, your continued generosity is bringing hope to persecuted Christians.
“You have not abandoned us… Thank you!”
No matter the country, whether in Africa or the Middle East, we continue to hear this phrase, thanks to the generous support of you and other friends.
God is using your faithfulness to bring hope to persecuted Christians around the world.
“Many people have forgotten about our daughters,” shared a father of one of the missing Chibok girls. “But you have not. We are so thankful for your encouragement.”
And in Iraq, Christians express the same gratitude:
“Many organizations have left, yet you remain and are helping us survive.”
We are only able to sustain programs like these because you are answering God’s call to stand you’re your persecuted brothers and sisters around the world!
God is doing miraculous things, even in seemingly dismal situations, because of your faithfulness. Thank you so much for answering this call!
As we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth, and watch as another year comes to a close, these programs are more vital today than ever before.
The most vital programs like trauma counseling and refugee support could be at risk for not being fully funded, and this is why we are so thankful for the generosity of friends like you. Please be sure to send in your gifts by December 31st, so these life-changing programs are funded.
God is at work in a mighty way and He is allowing these programs to continue, even when others have left, because you have been faithful to answer His call. Thank you for caring for the Body of Christ this Christmas and throughout the year!
