At this junction in my life, I am not thriving financially. Between trying to pay for student loans and rent in Orange County, we don’t have anything left over at the end of the month.

I see the great need for Bibles or training materials and wish I had more funds to help. However, there is a way to help persecuted Christians even if you can’t financially support them.

Advocacy is being a voice for the voiceless- speaking up for those who do not have a voice. I can’t think of a group who needs our advocacy efforts more than persecuted Christians.

This month we will be focusing on advocacy and different things that you can do to help persecuted Christians. Some are as easy as sending a quick email to your senator, others involve using your own platforms (social media, church etc) to share the message of persecuted Christians- to be their voice. Keep an eye out for new campaigns and advocacy ideas on this blog and on our facebook and twitter accounts.

So even if you don’t have money, you can help persecuted Christians by being their voice. Are you in? Will you be an advocate for persecuted Christians?
