HELP YOUR KIDS POST A NOTE TO ENCOURAGE KIDS LIVING IN PLACES WHERE IT IS DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS.
Christians in more than 60 countries face persecution from their governments or neighbors simply because of their belief in Jesus Christ. Sadly, this often means it is illegal or dangerous for believing families to celebrate Christmas.
While persecuted kids can sometimes participate in private or secret Christmas traditions, doing so may place them and their families at risk if discovered. They long for the freedom to live out their faith in Jesus, in safety, at Christmas and throughout the year.
Take some time with your kids to share your prayers and messages for the kids of the persecuted church during this Christmas season. Because for young believers like Wasihan in Ethiopia, Rosamie in the Philippines and Fabiana in Iraq—it means so much to know believers around the world are praying for them.
Share your messages below—and be encouraged by the messages of others.
Please gather your kids and post an encouraging note below to let these precious kids know you are praying for them this Christmas as they celebrate in secret.

Gracious Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus I pray for Your strength and grace upon these precious children and upon their families. Give them Your peace and Your joy as they meditate on the precious gift of Your Son. Thank you for these brothers and sisters. May they persevere to the end and may they fix their eyes upon Jesus, the Air and Finisher of their faith.
In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen
