The Open Doors field staff in Nigeria is asking for prayers for a developing situation in Gulak, Adamawa State.

Isaac, an Open Doors Nigerian researcher, is reporting that Boko Haraman extremist group that is located primarily in Northern Nigeria More is now confronting the army once more in an attempt to take back Gulak. The fighting has sent people fleeing into nearby hills. But many elderly people are trapped inside the Christian-dominated town, too weak to flee. Heavy gun battles were reported on Monday.
Please join us in praying that the Nigerian armed forces will be able to keep the insurgents out of Gulak and protect its people.
