Facebook, Twitter, cell phones, internet…these resources are changing nations. Used to over-throw governments, rally demonstrators and unite causes; others however, are using these resources in a personal way as they seek answers to questions…questions that until now were forbidden to ask publicly. Open Doors shares these questions from seekers including this one from a young man in Saudi Arabia: “I have some questions for you about Christianity. My Imamthe person who leads prayers in a mosque. told me all kind of things about Jesus, but is this right? What can you tell me about Jesus?” In response to the young man’s question an Open Doors-internet-follow-up writes: “We prayed with him and he accepted Jesus as his Savior. He started to talk with friends and family about his experiences and new life with the Lord Jesus, but that caused him some problems. He wrote us that he is not afraid because he is depending on Jesus. But after this last message, we have not seen or heard from him in the internet-forum or in messenger.”

Additional quotes from seekers:

“I am a girl from Saudi Arabia and I became a Christian. I want to know more about the marriage with another Christian believer. I want to marry a Christian man, but where can I find one.”

“I am from Saudi Arabia. Can you tell me more about Baptism, Trinity, Mary and Jesus Christ. Please pray for me and help me in finding the answers.”

“I am from Saudi Arabia and I have accepted the Lord Jesus as my Savior after downloading the Bible on my computer. I also told my sister to become Christian and I shared the Gospel with her and she has accepted it. My brother knows about our Christian faith, but he has not done anything to harm us. He said it is our freedom. Thanks to God.”

“I am from Oman and I have accepted Jesus as my Savior, but I am afraid that people at my work find out. Thanks for your prayers and your encouragement from the Bible. Jesus has helped me.”

“I am from Kuwait and thank you for answering my questions about Christianity. I have accepted Jesus now after your replies.”

“I have accepted Jesus through your programs, and I want to start serving in the Gulf; any ideas?”

“I am Syrian and I have accepted Jesus as my Savior. I am attending the meeting in one of the churches here, but I still have so many questions. Can you help me in finding the answers?”

“I am Saudi, living in a big city over there. I have accepted Jesus as my Savior and I want to ask you to help me, only through the internet. Can you send me an internet-Bible and other spiritual books?”

“I am from Bahrain and I want you to know that I have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ after your 51 replies and our chat discussion.”

Father, we give great thanks for the many ways that the Gospel can reach people! We also praise You for those who thirst to know You and want to serve You with their lives. Thank you for the ways in which we can communicate with seekers and new believers through the internet, and we pray that many more will continue to seek You and come to a saving faith in Christ! Amen
