Please pray for sister Dina.* She is a Christian widow from an area in Central Asia where Islam is extreme. She lives in severe poverty with two children and her ill, immobile mother in a small unheated room without water and a toilet (a water tap and toilet are located outside). The room belongs to Dina’s brother, who is a Muslim. He wants to expel her from the room, but he hasn’t done it yet because their mother lives with Dina and he doesn’t want to care for her.

He hates his sister for following Christ. He frequently tells others: “Let her Jesus help her.” Dina has Hepatitis C. She caught the illness from her husband, who died several years ago from drugs. Her 9-year-old daughter has the same illness. They need money for expensive medication.

Dina works at a Christian school as a teacher, but doesn’t make enough money to afford the medication. She believes that God can heal her daughter and herself.

All her relatives are wealthy Muslims who abuse her for her faith. They say, “She has many sisters and brothers in her church; let them help her.”

She believes that God will release her from her hard circumstances. She acts strong, but in fact she is about to fall apart, and needs our prayer support. Pray for better health for Dina and her daughter, that they can obtain money for the medication, for relief from the harassment from her family and that her relatives may come to faith in Jesus Christ.
