Rohingya Families Expelled From Refugee Camp

February 17, 2016 by Janelle P in Asia

A partner in Myanmar has sent over this prayer request to us:

“Please pray for 7 RohingyaA primarily Muslim ethnic group, who live in the Buddhist dominated Myanmar. Muslim-background believer (MBB) families living as refugees in an undisclosed location in India. They’ve been kicked out of their camp last week because the Muslims in the camp are afraid that they would convert people to Christianity. There are around 1,200 Muslim families in the camp. They need urgent help to rent land and put up tents. Even Amod*, a Rohingya MBB leader, cannot go near the camp to reach out to the believers.”

Join us in praying for these Muslim-background believers who have been forced to flee as refugees. We pray for Jesus to provide them with guidance and strength as the minutes and days to come seen so uncertain.
