Multiply Your Prayer Influence by Leading a Group
There is nothing more powerful than a group of believers praying together. By leading a group in prayer for the persecuted church, you are making a major difference—not only in the lives of the persecuted, but also for the members of your group as they join hands with their brothers and sisters around the world.
What a Prayer Group Leader Does
As a Prayer Group Leader, you bring people together in prayer for persecuted Christians. It can be a casual gathering of neighbors in your home or a formal prayer group at your church. You simply invite people you know, arrange the location, provide our weekly prayer alert and then lead your group in changing the world with your prayers. In the process, you and your group will grow spiritually while expanding your vision for what God is doing around the world.
Requirements and Training
All that’s needed is email, a place to hold the prayer group and a desire to lead others in supporting their persecuted brothers and sisters in prayer.
While no training is required, we recommend completing the Open Doors Volunteer Orientation and reading our best practices on how to host a prayer group.
